For the monthly "Inspire" church newsletter and church calendar, click on "News" at the left.SANCTUARY ENHANCEMENT - Thanks to some very generous contributions, we have now started this project. Please be in prayer for this project. We would like so much to complete it this summer, but we still need additional donors. Is God calling you to be one? All gifts, whether large or small, are greatly appreciated. Contributions can be made in an envelope marked "Sanctuary Enhancement" and dropped in the offering plates or sent to the church office.
PEWS FOR SALE - The Church Council is offering several of our sanctuary pews for sale for $50 each. Concact Joe Dernay (924-9284) or Dorothy King (924-5912) if you are interested.
UMM RAILCATS BASEBALL OUTING - Saturday, June 27th. Cost is $5 per person. Sign up sheets are in the back of the santuary and in the kitchen during coffee hour. If you need a ride, call Kevin Lynch (924-3464). Join us for a terrific time at a very reasonable cost. A true family event.
JULY 4TH GRIFFITH PARADE - come join the fun representing the church, and walk the parade with us! The parade begins at 10AM on the 4th and is about one mile long. Help us hand out church flyers and candy. Candy donations are also needed. Sign up sheets are in the back of the sanctuary or call the church office to help. Thanks.
VBS - vacation bible school will be from July 6th to July 10th. Volunteers are needed to help. Information and sign up sheets are in the back of the sanctuary or contact Julie at 923-4407. Pre-registration will begin June 28th. Cost for camp is $3 per child or $5 per family. Sign up forms are available downstairs in Room 100 (Benjamin), in the narthex, or in the church office.
The 2009 Mission Trip took place at Henderson Settlement from June 7th through June 13th. Photos are presently posted in the church hallway. Additional information about Henderson can be found at: Hendersonsettlement.com
